Just now my papa allowed me to drive alone to shi yun's house to pass things to her. When I entered the driver seat, I was almost blur.

I got my license for 1 year already, but I seldom drive. That's why I tend to forget some of the controls. I was turning the headlight switch, then thought - How many turns must I make in order to have a high beam?

I even called Isaac to ask him la. He laughed at me, asking me not to tell people that I gotten my license for a year. I guess you guys also want to laugh at me.

Our first year anniversary is supposed to be on 18th April 2008 but because I was having exams and Isaac is saving up money, we decided to postpone our date to 24th May 2008.

It was a pleasant surprise when Isaac gave me a bouquet of flowers, I didn't expect that because flowers are expensive. The roses are huge and pretty! We took a cab to a mysterious place, Isaac refused to tell me where were we going. He talked to the taxi driver alone to prevent me from hearing where he would be bringing me to.

$40-$50 bucks gone!

I was idolising this stand in an unglam manner because this stand was the one helping us to take photos. We carried the stand infront of us and placed the camera in auto-timer mode. That explains why we kept laughing because many staff and customers might think we were crazy yet creative. haha.


Today is a happy day, because I found my BLUM & CO SHOES! size 35! The shopkeeper from another branch said all size 35 is all sold out in other branches. YOU LIAR! You were too lazy to check for me. I found it in Suntec City today.

$60 for the shoe! SOBS...

Why am I so happy now? Because of GSS!!! It started today, so I went to shop alone in Bugis. I always shop alone. Shopping alone is always the best, I can go wherever and stop whenever I want.

I was carrying so many plastic bags, everything was slashed between 30%-70%.

This sunday is my cousin's wedding, I do not have a nice elegant dress for the wedding dinner. So I have decided to shop for a long dress.

I was in Mphosis for 2 hours! It was so packed but everything was 50%-70% off. I saw Jessleen too! We waved at each other but she did not dare to come into Mphosis because there were so many people squeezing against each other in the shop.

I am that cheapskate so I flipped through every clothes there, rummaged the bags, tried almost all the slippers and shoes and wore the necklaces and belts.

I found a dress which is black and long. Checked.

Furthermore, it makes me look elegant and classy. My dress reflects light and makes it shine. I can't believe I got such a cheap deal.

$83 less 70% = $24!!!

How happy am I??? I made my brother guess how much was the dress, he said $100+

My father said $80-$90

My mother jokingly said $20 because she knows I am damn cheapskate.

I told her it was really $20. She was amazed and asked, "SURE ANOT? I DON'T BELIEVE."

I showed my family the receipt and they were shocked to see how cheap the dress was.







I can't help it, I was so happy.




SUPER GOOD QUALITY. ONLY taitai wears this type of clothes. I do not know what material is this but I know only tai tai loves this material.

Why Charles and Keith are not having GSS sales? I tried so many CnK shoes today, those with riboons but it was too expensive. Around $29-$46.

I can't wait for Charles and Keith sales, so that I can chiong there and be in the shop for 4 hours!

I have been following up ANTM and AI on youtube. Finally a fatter model won the American Next Top Model 10! Even Tyra said that Whitney(the winner) has a full figure.

I love watching American Next Top Model especially because you can see how people backstab each other, watch the backstage scenes and see how contestants walk the runway and pose. AH, how I wish I am tall and pretty so that I can be a model too.



She is the fattest among all the contestants, yet she still won! Flesh owns bones.

I love his finale song. When he cried for joy, I almost cried for him =))

I went out with Isaac to celebrate our 13th month anniversary. We decided to go to our favourite restaurant Terra for dinner.

I wore the dress Felicia, Janna and Pocha bought for me. I love wearing GREY DRESSES. WOOT!





Terra is cheap! 1 course meal+1 soup+1 dessert = $9.90!!! Huge servings for the course meal. BEWARE! The waiters and female manager are so friendly and happy people.

Ah Pek stalker!

While waiting for the train to Bugis at City Hall MRT Station.

An Ah peh kept staring at me. I walked away from him and pulled Isaac to another door. He stared and stared no matter how I tried to show him that I know he is staring at me.

I will not elaborate how he stared at me. But imagine how a pervertic man stares at you ok? Try asking Steven Lim to stare at you, you will feel very irritated that you can just slap him anytime.

My prince charming came to rescue me!

Isaac knew that ah pek was staring at me. So he tried to block his vision by hiding me with his body.

The train came but it was full, so Isaac and I did not get up the train. The Ah Pek did not get up too! So it was just the 3 of us.

Isaac pulled me and walked further away from him. The Ah pek followed us.

We walked away even further but that Ah Pek kept following us!

Isaac decided to stop this by facing the Ah Pek with his arms crossed and head high up with the "BU SHUANG" look.

I told Isaac to stop that and don't bother about the Ah Pek. But Isaac insist to pose with that bu shuang-wanna-fight with me look.

The Ah Pek was scared! He stopped following us.

HAHA. ISAAC saved the day!

After school, I went back home to take some clothes to weigh at Thomson Post Office. Chatted with the friendly staff about shipping overseas and bought a huge envelope the size of my torso.

I took a bus to Junction 8 to find envelopes but could not find. I was hungry and tired but I do not have enough time because I need to meet my sisters at 5.30pm to celebrate Hui Ying's birthday.

I took a train to Ang Mo Kio NTUC to find envelopes, found it. But I realised the evelopes might be too small. At the cashier, heard a crazy man asking the female cashier how much he must pay, she said $5 , he said, "$5000 ar? Cannot la! Too expensive."

"Uncle is $5"

"You think I have $5000 ah?"

"..........."

"Haha, play with you la, don't scared. But if you want $5000, why not you co-operate with me to rob bank?"

I walked away from the queue and changed to another cashier.

I went to pee with the huge envelope in my hands.

I wore my shorts with 1 hand.

Went out of AMK Hub to the coffee shop next to MacDonalds to eat chicken rice at 3.30pm. I thought chicken rice is cheap because I am eating in a coffee shop. Last time during my Mayflower Secondary school days, when there is no AMK hub, chicken rice at that coffee shop cost $2.50.

Blame it on AMK hub, now chicken rice cost $3.30 at the coffee shop.

I ate alone. I pour all the chili and the black sauce into my bowl.

Plates and bowls are cleaned by me except for the huge bowl of MSG soup.

Went into MacDonalds to steal some tissue paper.

Took a train to Novena to find a shoe for Hui Ying. Circled first floor 5 times. Did not find what I want for Hui Ying.

Circled one last time and finally found a glittery shoe for her.

Shopkeepers of every shops on the first floor recognised me because I went into their shops at least 2 times.

Shoe shops about 4 times.

Travel back to Bishan and wait at the train platform for my sisters.

Why spend so much money on food? If there are special occasions such as birthday, anniversary or catching up with old friends, you can spend as much as you want.

But I think dates and normal outings with girl friends, we should just eat good hawker food which is cheap yet delicious.

Alot of people can't handle money, I can't handle my own money even though I save 50% of my allowance.

My allowance is very little, this week I guess I will only receive $30 because I have school on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. 1 day = $10.

so for 1 month, I only receive $120.

Alot of my friends have 5 times the allowance I have now. But I don't think they are rich.

To me, rich means how much you can save with that little money. It is not how much you have or how much your father has. You are not rich even though you stay in a bungalow, your dad is rich but you can be poor.

I know that some people own cars...bought by their fathers. Their fathers are willing to buy cars for their sons or daughters but don't they feel that the cars are not rightfully theirs?

If I drive a car bought by my father, I will never feel comfortable because I feel spoilt, pampered and such a loser. I rather buy my own car with my hard-earned money and ferry my father around, I would feel happier and comfortable this way.

Enough thoughts. Today I tried alot of clothing from ZARA, TOPSHOP, HULA & CO.(I never frequent these places because I buy cheap clothing from bugis street or online shops). I tried the maximum pieces I can bring into the fitting rooms. I went in to take photos, be happy and not buy anything.

Taking photos rather than buying the clothes makes me so happy. HAHaha. I am crazy.

I think people see the shop like a fashion show because they emailed me and commented that the clothes are very nice but they didn't buy anything because it is not what they are looking for.

Those strangers feedback to me that they prefer tube dresses, halter tops, spaghetti tops and alot more. They also want something they can be worn to school because our collection is too sexy and revealing.

My singapore supplier kept calling me and informing me about their new arrivals. But my response for my 1st collection is not good yet so I can't purchase anymore for the wholesaler.

There are people waiting for my 2nd collection because they like the way we display our clothes.

Ok, if you want to see my 2nd collection then buy something from me! haha.

My friends also say that I should have some theme to the collection like retro, sexy, back to school basics or whatever themes.

I can feel what is it like when you open up a restaurant after your grandma's name and on the first day, customers walked passed your restaurant, take a peep and walk away.

This is so sad.

You are wearing a chef's hat waiting for customers to smell and indulge in the cuisine prepared by you.

I wonder how can I advertise my shop?

1. Besides joining livejournal communities and spamming forums?

I wil never want to steal emails from strangers and spam them, it is rude and not professional.

2. Give out flyers? That is a bit too exaggerating.

3. Be a mascot and jump around Orchard Road? People will stomp on me.

4. Pay celebrities to advertise for me? I will be broke.

I am getting more broke because I am the only one who forked out all the money to buy the clothes and whatever expenses. I hope business will be better so that I can claim back my expenses and earn a profit!

Help me advertise too and I will glady appreciate it!

RCA Car racing! You have to wear a helmet because you can crush your head anytime if you flunk out of the car. You have to race with your friends and other people, so you will get banged by them. You can bang against the wall if you do not know how to drive, only people with license can drive because it is really dangerous. It is like how you see racing cars in tv shows, they can flip and fly into the air and catch fire.

So I will show you my palm phone! I collected it today at SPH, the lady was so nice to me.

My father is interested in the phone because he wants a phone with wifi. But I can't seem to find that function in this phone...




My mother doesn't need another new phone, so maybe I will give it to my father.


I really love the palm phone but I realise I don't know how to fully utilise it, so I rather sell it away or give it to my family members.

It is not the prize that matters, haha.

Shi Yun, Isaac and I are working on the online shop. Adobe photoshop CS3 is damn difficult to use, it is hindering our process but we know we have to use it because windows paint sucks.

Yesterday after I came back from Bangkok, I washed alot of clothing, some of those clothing that may colour run were handwashed too. It took me 2 hours. Isaac was there to help me too, the bamboos were too heavy, so he helped me bring out the clothing.

Today I have to wash again!

I stained my bed.

I have to wash the mattress cover, bolster cover, pillow cover, inner cushion, mattress cushion and my bolster cushion.

Stupid blood stains, I have to scrub with dynamo now.

Later Shi Yun and Isaac will be coming to my house to take pictures of the clothes to be uploaded for http://tubee.livejournal.com/

I have to rush to scrub my mattress now!

How am I going to scrub the stains away from the thick mattress cushion? I have to sun dry it too.

ARGH...so troublesome!

sneak preview of our bangkok trip. We went to race against each other in a circuit, it is damn scary, you can flunk out anytime because you have to keep drifting and swerving. Singapore will definitely not allow this, because the Thailand racing car company will not be responsible for any deaths or injuries.

I just came back from Bangkok and I received a call from STomp. It was a man and he said that I won the contest for World's Smartest Mum contest.

I remained calm because I was expecting consolation prizes. I asked if I receive the first prize.

He said that there is only 1 prize.

WOW.

There were so many STomp contests but I only particpated this particular contest because I have something to declare about my smart mum.

I got a palm centro smartphone! I admire people with iphones, itouch and palm phones, now I get to have my own palm phone for free!





I prayed when I joined the contest and now I received my rewards. Praise the Lord.

Shi Yun and I went to find clothes and liaised with a wholesaler today.

Initially it was a typical shop, we went in there to try clothes. I ask her how much was it because it looks good on me, she said, "$39.90"

WTF?

I wanted to say bye bye to her, but she told me she does wholesale. I must buy 10 pieces to get a lower price. The price given for each price is still not that cheap. We can't even make double profit, it is so much less than that.

But we liaise with her, so next time if I buy from her again, I hope she can charge me cheaper so that all my friends and customers can buy from me at just $25++ rather than buy at $40!

But I have decided to use market penetration to target new customers, so we have to lower our profits buy selling cheaper. 1st collection has to make a loss because we have to appeal to many customers, but hopefully the subsequent collections can give me more profits.

I spent $1000 today.

$500 to open a joint account with Shi Yun. Yes, Shi Yun will be joining me and Isaac. Lesser profits for each of us but the business experience is the most important.

So Shi Yun and I were carrying 2 huge bags of clothes. Less than 25 pieces of clothes and 1 design has 10 of them!!!

I really hope people can just buy 10 of them, haha. But there are many different colours. I will pray hard for my small business. Money to pay for school fees and we don't want to use our parents mnoney.

It is time to be financially independent!

P.S: We can't tell you alot of our business deals or who is the wholesaler because boss says so, if people complain or say, we die!

Felicia, Shi Yun and I went to Just Acia at Dhoby Exchange for dinner. So filling yet cheap! less than $10! for a whole set of japanese food. Free flow of ice cream and drinks too!

Doomsday was 10/10. I know all guys will love it, because I like action-packed shows too!

Shi Yun and Felicia enjoyed the movie alot. So happy!=))

I want to go out with so many people but I have to settle my Bangkok trip and my online shop.

2ml I may have to find wholesalers, will definitely choose good quality clothes and not clothes that are sheer!

Tuesdays I have to discuss the Bangkok itinerary with my friends because I tried doing it myself and plan for everybody but I don't know what they prefer, so it is better to discuss with everyone so that everybody can be happy.

Wednesday I have to exchange money and buy whatever is needed for my trip such as sun block lotion and small little containers for my shampoo and whatever that is liquid.

This online clothes store will just be a mini business for both of us, enough money for Isaac's transportation, food and other expenses. Haha jkjk.

I am not sure how successful will it be, but if it fails, I will just have the clothes for myself. Haha.

I will never want to be as big as tracyeinny.livejournal.com, nellyjoy.livejournal.com or theveletvase.com, because they have to face alot of frauds, scammers and spammers.

I heard that alot of customers are not happy with those big online stores, as they are very slow in replying comments and sending out clothes to customers.

It is better to stay low. Yeah, low.

What are the benefits of an online store?

You need not pay rental fees. Therefore the clothes will be cheap.

I need to source out for wholesalers who are willing to sell clothes to me in bulk. So that I can sell to my customers cheaper or else they have to pay much more expensive in Far East Plaza or Marina Square.

If there is no profit gain from this business, I will just treat it like an experience for me.

Anyway, I need all of your support.

I have been reading many forums for the past few weeks to find out what customers like and how shop owners handle customers.

I have found some wholesale places, so I will be checking it out soon.

How can we have friends from 2 different worlds?

It is so hard to communcicate when most of the time, the RICH/CLEVER person will convince his friends to support his claim, whereas the poor/stupid person can't appeal to most of her friends.

Then all your friends will support you because you are rich and clever.

They are just hypocrites.

If they support me, they are my true friends. But there is no such thing.

Only my bestfriends are my true friends. The rest of some of my friends? Not really a pile of shit but just a piece of chicken shit.

You have no rights to look down on me because you think you have everything. You are still imperfect. If you are imperfect I am also imperfect, we are at the same level.
