Seoul: Day 2
Sorry, I have been busy playing maple and sleeping till afternoon, so I was too lazy to blog.
Now let the pictures do the talking.
The whole day for Day 2 is Everland!!! It is a themepark and almost a "pirated" version of Disneyland.
Name of Hotel.
Singaporeans do not know how to line up, but Koreans do.
We took a bus from Gangnam subway station to Everland!

I took some rollercoaster rides... HEADACHE.. But it was really thrilling. I screamed all the way. It was so cold, because the ride was so fast and it was snowing at the same time!!!
We took some internal rides, fun fun fun, no pictures but I have 1 picture for this internal ride, it was a boat ride.

The christmas "island"
The safari...it was so scary, we were sitting in a bus and this bus driver drove us into a zoo. THE ANIMALS WERE NOT CAGED UP!! There were some lions walking "beside me" and some other wild animals blocking the bus. You can even see the lion's face through the bus window 5cm away. ROAR. Then there were so many bears..they are at least 2 times taller than me. They were so huge that they can actually push the bus down.
4D cinema
Same old thing, using the 4D spectacles you can see bees flying infront of your eyes, bullet coming towards you. What I hate is the water... The movie will show a guy sneezing, and when he sneeze his nose will shoot out water and the water will sprinkle onto our face. (the water came from the seat infront of each audience).So disgusting.
Lazy climb.

Seoul: Day 1
Sorry I took a long time to blog about my holiday in Seoul because I am busy playing maple, haha. And I can't go out nowadays because I am having either cold rashes, wool allergy or eczema due to the cold weather in Seoul, it was negative 4 degress.... I was referred to the skin centre by the polycinic GP, and he said I have to check what kind of skin allergies I have. WTH....
and when is the next appointment??? 28 JANUARY!
GOV IS SO SLOW... mum said private is too expensive, oh wells.

I was the photographer, so I have very few photos of myself and I cannot expose too many photos of my family members too, haha, is personal. BTW there are 400 over photos but I will select some pictures for my blog.
It was a 5 hours flight, I watched Ratoulie and slept. There were 80 over movies and drama shows, I have already watched Stardust, transformers and Bourne Identity before so I didn't watch them, SIA kris world in-flight entertainment is really updated and the best.
We checked into Rainbow Hotel and I watched a little bit of TV. I saw Maggie Q's breast..wth, she was acting in this kung fu movie and was having a sex scene with a hong kong actor. She was naked... Didn't know korea allow shows with sexual contents(somemore in the afternoon)... that makes korean guys horny, haha.
We checked into 2 rooms, father and mother 1 room, and I share the other room with my brother.
THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE BATHROOM!!!
and when is the next appointment??? 28 JANUARY!

THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE BATHROOM!!!
This is the reason why I complained to my mother that I don't want to sleep with my brother in the same room.
Look at the bathroom glass door or wall. It is transparent! There isn't any opaque door to "hide" the bathroom. How am I going to pee and shower with my brother around? I will kill myself if my brother peeps at me.
WTF!!! I am shitting! GO AWAY! haha
The floor is warm, I think there is a heater underneath the wooden floor. My father almost wanted to check into the korean-stlyed room where we have to sleep on the floor, I think my body will be burnt to death because the floor was very hot that I have to wear the slipper given by them.
We came out of the hotel to find food for lunch and we tried this small little eatery.
EVERYTIME THEY SERVE US FOOD, THEY WILL GIVE KIMCHI
for 6 days, I have to eat that smelly and yucky kimchi... that is the only food I hate in Korea, only my mum likes it.
Did you see the red cabbage there? It is kimchi. And the rest of the side dishes are compulsory dishes which have to complement with the kimchi. It is more like the appetisers for Koreans or rather a staple food.
At night, We took the Korean subway to Namdaemun Market. By the way, it is easy to get around in Korea because most of the attractions are near the subway stations. DON'T JOIN TOUR GROUPS!!! For 19 years of my life, every year I went overseas with my family we never joined tour group accept for China. I don't like tour group because I have to wake up early, I hate waking up early. =)) and the scheldue is too tight.
We have to stand on the right of the escalator, because Korean workers are always rushing for the train..or should I say they are often late for work? I always see them running. haha If I run on the streets of Singapore, it will be the most pai seh thing ever.
There were many stalls there and we kept walking.

Our dinner. Ginseng Chicken, some seafood omelette and fried beef plus the compulsory Kimchi and other side dishes which we didn't order.
Ikan bilis, kimchi and some spicy potato and vegetable. Ew...
It was very cold, I wore a wool thermo inside. A top and jeans and a pullover and finally a thick windbreaker cum jacket.
MUST BE THE WOOL THAT CAUSED MY SKIN TO BE LIKE THAT!

How I pulled through my first university examinations
No one can live alone, no one can be independent. Why I think this way, is because without the support of my family members and my friends, I think I have already died.
It is good to be independent, but that will make you an introvert. It is good to face all the problems by yourself, but that will make you burst to death due to accumulated pressure and stress.
When I was surfing the internet on how to relieve stress, they kept emphasizing that we should talk to somebody about your problems. I thought that was dumb, because I will never want to tell my problems to my closed friends because I don't want them to worry about me.
I guess I was wrong, because I was the one suffering, almost dying, facing immense pressure and just find that my life was screwed up in the beginning. I cried alot of times before I sleep, the old Jasmine don't cry that easily because ... eh she just don't cry that easily. =x
Until one day, I talked to God and asked Him to give me strength and the courage to move on. He gave me this urge to talk to my parents and my friends about it. Isaac knew little about what was happening, so I decided to tell him about the exam pressure and whether I should carry on with this course.
I talked to my parents about it too. They were supportive of what I am doing. My parents don't want me to feel so stress, because it hurts them. My mother suggested if I want to drop out of school to work because next time when I get married, my degree will be useless if I am taking care of many kids.
I pulled through my examinations. Today was my last paper, Marketing... I did not finish studying because the marketing book was EFFING thick. Tonight 11.59pm is my flight to korea, I will be away with my family for a week and will be back on 10th dec night time.
I want to thank those people who are there for me, I am so contented with my life now. I rather have great family members and friends than have great scores for my exams. Haha.
These are the people who have helped me.
1. My family=))
My mother boiled lots of herbs for me, gave me back massage, pleated my hair, do all the housework and lots of things.
My father msn me to ask how I was doing and kept saying he will support me. He also tried to help me in my marketing and offered to fetch me home from school a couple of times.
My brother. YOYO, I started studying in his room because his room is conducive environment to study. I kept sleeping and playing in my room, so it is time to move away from distractions. My brother and I also love to listen to fm987 Muttons. I was able to study better with him around because he often said this,
My smart brother and I. =)) Please ignore my bad complexion because I was having eczema and acne due to stress. Crap...
2.Isaac
He gave me morning calls every morning because an alarm clock don't work on me if I sleep less than 7 hours. I have been mugging till late at night, thus I have only 4-5 hours of sleep. It was really hard for me to wake up because I was not used to sleeping so few hours.
He also came over to my house to be a printer... Because he knew that I had been printing lots of exam papers so it was wasting alot of my time. He came to help me print exam papers and other homework for me.
Thanks baby=)
He always appeared at my house downstairs to motivate me. I can only look out of the window to smile at him because he knows I have to study. How I wish I am Rapunzel so that I can let my hair down for him to climb 11 storeys high. HAHA.
Sometimes I will come down to meet him for awhile and he will suprise me with junk food and chocolates that can make me happy.
3. Friends
Shi Yun, Felicia, Wan Xin, Hui Ying, Ying Hui, Le Duan, Yi Ling, Kiat Joo, Jesselyn, Han Sheng, Hong Ju, Chin Huat, Wayne, Ivan, Vikram and more.
They showered me with concern and were there to support me during my examinations.
I was sleeping one morning when somebody kept pressing my doorbell. I was like WHO THE F... because the person kept pressing the noisy doorbell repeatedly alot of times, like an impatient person having incontience who need to use my toilet.
It was 9am, I struggled out from my bed and looked at the pinhole, I saw a small little girl with curly hair outside my house. I walked back to my room and shouted to my brother, " YOUR FRIEND OUTSIDE OUR HOUSE."
He went to take a look but could not recognise her too. My house phone rang and it was SHI YUN!
She said she was outside the house for quite some time already.
OOPS!!! I THOUGHT IT WAS A MEI MEI!
I opened the door and she greeted me with BIRD NEST and a note. She knows I don't like Chicken Essence because I don't like the smell of it, so she brought Bird Nest. She said, "Jasmine, don't so stress, you can do it de." I thank her profusely and she went off to school. I was so happy, it was such a nice surprise from my bestfriend.
I am going to celebrate her belated birthday with her, Hui Ying and Ying Hui on 11th December! I hope I can drive them around, hee hee.
The meaningful surprise sister Shi Yun gave me. She BUCK UP with Isaac! LOL.

Isaac don't cry..this baby boy, keeps crying because he don't want me to leave him for 1 week.
He is at my house now playing maple. He said, "Hi".
I think he is going to drive my family to the airport using my father's car. My father wanted him to drive us there and at the same time allow Isaac to use his car for 1 week. I am happy that my parents have some sort of accepted him, because they were very nice to him. They don't mind inviting him to my house for dinner and my brother is getting less awkward with him around too.

ZOOM! I am going to watch all the movies in the aeroplane, I hope they have Enchanted. SIA inflight entertainment ROCKs, they are damn updated. BYEBYE! Take cares, I will be back to meet up with my friends soon!
