Why is it that I don't have an ambition??
I don't know what I want to be, that is why I am having so much problems in university now.
What am I interested in? NOTHING. I just want to be in a happy family and find a job that I like.
BUT what job do I LIKE? How I know.....
I think all aimless people should die, they are useless people who are wasting life in universtiy. That includes me.
After attending 3 months in university, if you have no goals, don't come university, you will be driving yourself into your own grave.
I go heaven now, byebye.

6th Month Anniversary
We celebrated our 6th month on Sunday. well, few days back, jas kept asking me whether what will we be doing for our date. I just kept quiet, and i told her that it is a secret. She kept bugging me, wanting to know what is it, but i just kept quiet. She asked me the dress code for the date and I told her casual.
So, i appeared at her void deck at around 1pm. Called her, and she said she just had her lunch, will be coming down as soon as possible. I waited for awhile, and saw the lift stopped at 11th floor with the arrow pointing down. So i guessed she's entering the lift. As I waited, I felt so excited cos i'll be seeing her very soon.
As the lift door opened, she appeared in her black dress. And she saw me in my t-shirt and the abercrombie bermuda which my elder sis bought for me. Both of us looked at each other with a very strange look on the face because she was wearing a dress but I was in t-shirt and bermuda shorts. She asked me why I wore like this. I told her it is supposed to be casual, but dress seemed more like formal. So she went up again to change into a t-shirt and skirt. (Alright, that was a mistake for me I guess, because I was supposed to wear jeans instead.)
We went church for the 3rd service, normally we will attend the 4th one. But because we will be going out, so we went church earlier. The service was supposed to end at 4.30, but because we had to catch Resident Evil at 4.30pm, so we left immediately when Pastor Prince ended his sermon.
Resident Evil is a nice movie cos it is quite scary by it's sound effects and those screaming noises by the zombies. Jas was afraid by some scenes and she hid behind her cardigan and she freaked out by 1 scene whereby the actor was underneath the lorry, and suddenly the zombie appeared on top of his face. She SCREAMED! Haha.
After movie, I wanted to bring her to Indulgz Bistro, recommended by Felicia. But she said we cant enter like that cos I wore like so casual and the restaurant is such a high class place. We were deciding which other places to dine at, but we still end up at Indulgz Bistro as I had made reservation the night before.

I asked Jas whether she wants to share a soup with me. But she said the deserts there were being recommended by xiaxue. So we tried out the Double Chocolate Brownie with ice cream.
Overall, the food there is nice, but the quantity is quite little. I would recommend the place too as I think it is worth eating there as the ambience is very good. As for the desert, I agree that it is also very nice and I felt like eating it again after we left the restaurant. So people out there, when you all get to read this entry, bring your boyfriend or girlfriend there to try out the food because it will be a nice and good experience, having to dine in such a nice environment and nice food.

Felicia's birthday!
Saturday was Felicia's 21st brithday celebration but her actual birthday is on the 24 october. I worked with her for 3 months before entering university, working with her is always fun as she is an outgoing, mysterious and beautiful young lady.
She is very understanding because she has faced lots of hardships and ups and downs which had moulded her into a better person. Whatever shit she faces, she still remains strong. Even though she is a petite person, she has a strong personality, she will do everything and anything that is right.
She has a heart and a brain of a man, because she likes to play dota, manly games and she can understand guys too. However she has a heart of a young cute girl too, she loves her rabbit and hamster too much, especially muffin.
I dressed up nicely for that day. A blue dress.
My father fetched Shi Yun, Isaac and me to Pasir Ris Coasta Sands. Shi Yun, Felicia and I worked together, we became good friends within 3 months! Felicia invited Isaac also because Isaac fetched me home from work a few times and she got to know him too.

Felicia's delicious birthday cake. Felicia took out the silver key and told me to eat it, she said it was edible, I bite it and ... yup I got fooled, it was just a stainless metal key.
Felicia was so shy! She was actually too happy la.
Sweet tooth Shi Yun just couldn't get enough of the cakes. She got double servings.
Shi yun was playing with Felicia DS lite. She was playing this game that tests how old is your brain. She was supposed to speak to the DS lite the answer to the scissors, paper, stone game. But the DS lite can't detect her answer. So she kept talking to the DS lite and it was damn funny.

I was observing Felicia's parents and I can see that her parents made an effort to make her 21st brithday celebration successful. Her parents were running up and down and there were perspiration all over their faces.
I guess my parents will be as busy on my 21st birthday celebration which will be held in 2 more years!

Jealous or envy?
I was reading Sunday Times today and my father told me to solve the PSLE maths questions, he said many pupils could not solve them and there were uproars that the maths paper was the toughest.
He told me to try the paper in 10 mins but it was allocated 20 mins to that question, there were 3 questions. It was algebra, but I have not touched algebra for a long time, 10 mins went by and I have not got any answer.
My parents asked my brother who is now in Raffles Insititution secondary 3 to try the same math questions. He solved in less than 5 minutes. He did not cancel any working, he just sat there look at the question and write out the standard solution.
I was sitting beside my brother looking at his solutions, then my father said, "Wah, your brother surpasses you already."
I am 4 years older and engineering student, I am supposed to tackle every easy math questions, but I failed. Maybe because I have forgotten how to do PSLE maths or maybe I really think my brain is very slow.
I admire my brother and envy him for becoming so mature, clever and smart. He speaks like a prime minister, because he always relate our talks to the society or any political issues.
It was really damn embarassing to lose to him, especially PSLE maths. I guess I will forever lose out to him, he will get a higher salary than me too, or maybe 100 times richer than him.
I am sure my parents love him more than they love me, they want him to be lawyer or doctor but they told me just pass your degree and get married. Their expectations for me are very low and they know they can't increase any higher because my body will become unhealthy and it may cause long term effects.
My body is more unhealthy than my brother, I think I don't have any points which are better than him. I am always at the losing end.
He scored 178 I think for his PSLE maths, he was top in the normal category not the gifted category. So he was first in Catholic High primary school.
I scored 227 for PSLE and I was posted to Mayflower Secondary School.
Well I think he top his secondary 3 exams again because I asked him how was he exams, he smiled and said okie. I still can remember I was struggling in secondary 3, teacher even asked me to drop out from triple science course.
I want him to do well also, because since I can't do well academically to make my parents happy, my brother can. I always ask him about school and whether he needed help, passed him some of my good books and tips on how to study.
All I do is buy food for him, ice-cream and buy back snacks for my family, there is nothing else I can contribute to the family. Am I a failure?
I realise I am not feeling jealous, but just envying him and admiring him. Anyway I love him alot, he is my one and only favourite brother, he has changed for the better and I know he has a good life ahead.
Why is it that my brain works slower than others? Even in school now, I just can't think logically or mathematically or physics -ally or marketingally or statically.
I guess I am born like that, to fill up the position of the below-average brain or student.

My 2 new idols- Isaac and Leona Lewis
I always like Mariah Carey and Christina Aguilera because their voices are very powerful. I always sings their songs because I want to be the next Mariah Carey. But I always ZAO SIA...
Idol 1: Isaac Wong Yue Wei
Isaac promised to train my vocals so that both of us can join any singing competition, haha. He is a talented "musician", his ears are very sensitive to pitches and tunes. He just hears a new song and he knows how to play on a guitar, piano and drums. He has a guitar and a piano at home but he doesn't have drums, yet he played so well using his fingers to tap the table.
I realised he got this musical talent that he should advance on, but in Singapore, being a singer as a career is CMI. I gave him chords I printed out online he still said the chords were wrong and he recomposed the chords, what talent is that!
His mother just bought him a piano when he was young and he just learnt on his own. SO LI HAI! I admire him sia.
I asked him, "You sure have some secrets why you got alot of talents right? Tell me your secret leh."
He replied, "Huh, no really don't have any secret, I just know how to play lor, somehow know how."
I replied, "You don't bluff me la, where got such thing de, how you know what specific chords to play de."
He replied, "I also realised I am talented in this area, after thinking through the years, I realise it is God's gift for me."
WAH! All the more he should make use of his talent. He is once from choir also, sometimes I sing to him, he said I sang at the wrong pitch, but my friends said I sing very nice.
He say I must sing like a piano???
If the piano is a C chord, I have to sing a C. He said I out of tune leh! Wah, he so pro, he will teach me guitar, piano, drums, singing and also a bit of taekwondo in future.
BTW, when he sings any song, he just hits the notes and pitch so correctly that your heart will just melt. Amazingly beautiful. He should be the next JAY CHOU. Ah pui! Is the next Project Superstar or Singapore Idol.
Anyway he said he wanted to do a duet with me, because he said I have a potential for singing too, I have a strong voice, haha, but bad tuning.
I FEAR HIM! WHAT A TALENTED MAN!

She is the combination of 100 times of Mariah Carey and Christina Aguilera. Everytime I hear the last part of her songs, I will get goosebumps, because it was freaking beautiful.
One of the judges for Britain X factor was Simon Cowell and he said, "You are the best singer ever to me."
TO ME TOO!
You should listen to this song, I love it 100%. Starting it was soft, after that POW! Her voice was so powerful and beautiful. Simon Cowell clapped nonstop, after he sat down he still clapped and shook his head in amazement. Blast this song! All the comments for this video from people were-->"Fucking amazing, no singer can beat her"

My friend told me to try forming a band, he has a friend who is a drummer same age as me, I need a basist and any guitarist! I want to be a rock singer! haha

An email that changed my mindset about having 12 kids!
I don't want to have 12 kids, no longer a soccer team and a reserve! I received this email from my friend about a family of 17 kids, it was all pictures of the family and how they were doing. It was crazy, I don't think I have the money and the energy to maintain such a huge house and control so many children.
I have decided to just 4-6 kids. What a tremendous change, by half actually. But I have finally measure the pros and cons and realise within all my capabilities, I think I can only cope with 4-6 kids.
So dramatic!

The house is effing big. Should be about 5 million or more..crap.
A game of soccer, more than enough people.
Wash 17 underwears can die! 17 jeans also can die!
I can play hide and seek.

Wah, I should buy lots of daytona car machine in my house next time, haha.
Where is my cup! *turns every cup to look at the label.

Shiok leh, can form an orchestra.
I need lots of money to have 12 kids. So I am going to drop this idea of having 12 kids. It is so dumb. OK I know I was intially dumb, but now no longer!
Maybe I should steal the SIA airbus A380(biggest aeroplane in the world) that has just landed in Singapore today, it cost a bomb! When I was watching Channel news asia today, I got back the urge of loving aeroplanes.
I admire Stephen Lee, the chairman of SIA, he is rich. I want to work in SIA, can get free tickets every year, that is why I travel to alot of countries every year, because my mother works in SIA. haha. I should advance to aerospace engineering, heh heh. But I like to sit in an aeroplane instead of making an aeroplane, haha.
If I still want to have many kids, I have to resort to this--> I think this is a good way to bond with my family, haha.

But now I want to drift away from hard rock and pop and focus more on "uncommercialised" genre such as indi, post-grunge.
By the way, I realise Singaporeans are not very exposed to all kinds of music genre. You ask any university graduate about music genres, he only knows rock, pop, classical. ITE, POLY or students who are not in university have a wider knowledge about music, like my online friend Ivan, he listens to all kinds of music genres.
Uni people only know Jolin Tsai, Rainie Yang and Backstreet Boys. Lucky I not so Uni, haha.
I should stop listening to 98.7fm and listen to Class 95 to hear different kind of genres. Anway Class 95 also don't have all the different genres.
Rock not only has hard rock or alternative rock or opera rock. There is a whole list of them.
BY THE WAY, LINKIN PARK IS NOT ROCK! They are NU-Metal!
But their new album, minutes to midnight is a wrong genre, they don't sound Nu metal, they sound so POPPISH... ew...
The more you listen to pop songs, the more you get sick of it, that is why I am sick of Backstreet Boys and Boy ZOne. All the BBBB, anyway, Breaking Benjamin is so much better, but they are rock.

No one knows what I am going through
The stress I am having now, the unhealthy body that I have to take care of, the shit work I have to catch up and just everything.
NO ones knows how stress I am, and I don't see a need to tell them how stress I am and why I am stress.
Isaac tried to understand me to know how stress I am because he is worried about me. I seldom message him or call him in school because I am very busy. He was quite sad that he felt neglected, but kept to himself, until I saw his diary.
I am such a selfish person, that I neglected him. But if he is understanding enough he will know what kind of shit I have to eat everyday. It is edible but smelly. Ok no link but yeah, just shit.
I don't want to message him when I am busy because I know it will be very short messages. I rather message him when I am free, my message will then be more real and truthful. I can't multitask, so thats the problem.
I want to spend time with him but I have limited time. So I thought he deserves someone better, a girl who can spend loads of time with him, he will be much happier and will never suffer in silence.
So I ponder, will pushing a girl to him make him happier? No, because he still loves me and he was very sad when I said that to him. He didn't sleep the whole night as he was out with Yao Yong, my cousin. He needed a bestfriend to be consoled.
He called me today and apologised to me that he realised he should be more understanding, he said he will message me and it will be ok if i don't reply. He will call me instead and I need not call him. He knows I am busy, so he will just be the one taking the initiatives. He wants to do that for me because he wants to minimise as much stress from me. I really appreciate the way he understands me now and will definitlely spend time with him.
He asked me to give him a chance to let him understand me further, I was already happy that he knows what I am going through, so our relationship just got better now.
The next time when he will be busy will be when he is in NS, so it will be my turn to message him, call him and most importantly support and understand him.
Moral of the story: Being understanding is the number one way of improving and maintaining a relationship. Showing someone that you understand her will give her a sense of security and she will never feel alone. She will feel that you are always there for her.

Spending time with cousins and family
Hee, went out with my beloved cousins, Le Duan and Yi Ling. We are going to stay over soon! It is so fun spending time with them, I laughed alot too, what a good way to destress for that week.
We ate at Takashimaya Hongkong cafe.

Crap, my cheeks are so puffy and red now because of eczema. It is blotty, dry and scaly. I think I am like a snake moulting! Ewww... I hope they won't leave scars on my face! Look at how red are my cheeks! I never even put on any make up and my cheeks are so puffy and red.
Better don't look closer at my face, you will get turn off by the peeling skin. I am having my moulting period now! Ah~ under the light cannot see. haha.
I realise friends, family and cousins are always there to make your life more meaningful. Studying make my life more dull but loved ones are always there to brighten your day.
I always love my conversation with my mother, we were always hugging each other on her bed while crapping. Haha, but this conversation from her was very meaningful.
Mama: I was listening to 97.2fm and this mother called in to tell the DJ to call her daughter to wish her happy birthday. The DJ kept calling the daughter's handphone but no one answered. The mother replied, "I also tried calling her but she always hang up my phone call, our mother and daughter relationship is a failure, all mothers love their daugthers, I just want to know where is she and also I want to wish her happy birthday, but she just neglected me, I am very sad."
I almost cried when my mother told me about that story, I am so glad that my family members love me. I told her this:
me: Maybe the mother was very possessive and control the daughter too much, so the daughter rebel.
mama: It is a must to control, but not too much, if you become a parent you will understand why there is a need to control your children.
me: I will control my children too, but of course I need to strike a balance when I do that. But now I very guai okies.
mama: ya la, I go sleep le.
Speaking about crying, my mother kept laughing at me when I saw the 9pm show on friday, I was crying like siao, even making noises when I cry. Like "waaa...boo.., wawabobo, sobs sobs, sniff, wa.....booo..."
I came back from my cousins' outing and luckily my mother taped the channel 8 9pm show for me.
Xi Cun was shot by madam, madam doubt his love for her. That was the saddest thing! He was on the hospital bed fighting for his life and trying to convince madam that his love for her is real and true. But madam who is pregnant with his baby didn't want to trust or believe him anymore!
Boo hooo...
I wonder why madam-rui en who is so cool, calm and conservative will become pregnant before getting married de.
Policewoman so horny sia!. They work until siao, catch criminals until siao thats why so horny la, they are so sexually-deprived.
I JUST CAN'T BELIEVE MADAM MY ROLE MODEL BECAME SO HORNY! argh.. bad plot of the show.

Small-mouth tutor, bestfriend and crowded car
I can't understand physics tutorial. I know what is the reason, it is because I don't bother understanding what that physics tutor was saying. I think it is the way he speaks, I can't understand his accent, that is why I can't piece his words.
Usually good singers have to open their mouths big to sing, project superstar the judges always advise the contestants to open their mouth big and lift up their cheeks to project a nice voice and tone.
That physics tutor is a bad singer! He can't speak properly, because he doesn't open his mouth. He did open his mouth but it was such a small opening, a fishball can't go into his mouth when he talks.
We had lab, bestfriend kept "harassing" me. He is called bestfriend but he is not my bestfriend at all. Never will he be one. Hong Ju named him bestfriend for don't know what reason, we don't really like him, so the meaning of bestfriend is the total opposite.
He is also not our enemy, is just a person who shows a little attitude, smells like poo and bounces around in school. We just avoid him as much as possible.
How he attitude:
1. Kiat Joo said he attitude her, full details find out from her. Is just that his words weren't pleasant and nice.
2. He attitude me INITIALLY, I guess it was because he was busy with his work and I interrupted him.
But now he is "harassing" me, well he can find other people to discuss about lab or talk to, but he came to my table like 4-5 times. Kiat Joo who sat beside me kept telling me not to talk to him, because she was getting very pissed off as he asked us stupid questions and repetitive questions. I didn't reject him or ignore him because I was afraid he might feel left out or think that we really don't like him.
Maybe he is nice person, so I replied him and talked to him nicely. But I realise the nicer you are, the more you will get crap from crap people. But I can't possibly act indifferent towards him because he didn't do anything to offend me, so I think I should talk to him normally like how I talk to my friends.
How bestfriend looks like? I kept thinking the whole night to find out who he looks like. He has small eyes, wear thick black spectacles, overflowing fats around the torso, small head and big body that bounces around and almost botak head.
But I FOUND OUT WHO HE RESEMBLES!
If you watch this sadistic cartoon called Happy Tree Friends, you will know The Moles. Happy tree friends is a hilarious sadistic cartoon show, it is nc-16 btw, it is childish but funny.
The Mole looks exactly like bestfriend! The only difference is that The Mole is slimmer and is blind.

After that Benjamin drove 10 of us including him with his mother's family car. 4 girls at the back and 4 guys in the middle and 2 guys infront including driver. It was so funny, he drove us from science lab to maths lecture, haha.

Jessica slammed the car door onto her left thumb! It was so painful, her thumb was bleeding, poor girl. Hong Ju got ice for her to dip her finger in, by the end of maths lecture, the cup of ice turned pink...EEwww...

Preparing to become a housewife
I think I need to get prepared to become a housewife and also a working woman.
I have learnt to do simple dishes, do simple house chores to keep the house clean.
This weekend I am going to learn super difficult dishes and also wash the toilet!!!
At least washing clothes is easy, because you can just remove clothes that should be handwashed and throw the rest of the clothes into the washing machine. Finally, after washing, you can just hang up the clothes to fry.
But washing toilet is not something that easy... I really pity those cleaners who are washing toilets everyday, they have to endure the smell and the sight.
Well I must start learning already, I must know everything like a housewife because I am reaching 20 years old!!!

currently: What I love and what I hate
I hate:
1. People who steal boyfriends.
I just saw the girl whom she stole my ex-boyfriend. She was sitting infront of me in bus 96, I so wanted to slap her. I think if I slap her, I will feel much better. But why should my thin hands slap a fat ass's face? And I am having the best boyfriend on earth, why should I care about her. Nah, I didn't slap her, I have already forgiven her.
Wanting to slap her was thought I always wanted to do when I see her, so today when I see her I immediately thought of slapping her, but I stopped and thought back, she is of no harm to me now, why should I bother about someone who don't matter to me at all?
2. Eczema sucks!
My face is full of eczema, I better sleep early and have a good rest, or else I will have to wear a mask to school everyday. My face is so itchy now. Stress kills! I also better stop eating chocolates, peanuts and seafood. CRAP, seafood...I love seafood...damn..
3. FAKE PEOPLE
sucker guy: Jasmine how you do for your exams?
me: sucks lor
sucker guy: I also sucks, I fail leh.
sucker guy: 12/26 and 14/20.
me: SIAO ar, you don't talk to me la, peple get 1 digit thats consider fail, your results so good still say you fail, you very wad leh.
sucker guy: really fail what,....if I compare to those get 20 and above.
me : *thinking: F off...

There is something special about this relationship, my love for him gets renewed everyday, making him special everyday. I guess because he is always there to give me morning messages, night calls and saying the three words to me everyday. I told him saying that three words everyday will make them lose its meaning.
He disgreed because if you love the person, he wants to constantly let me know that he loves me, now, everyday and forever. How sweet is he~
2. Watching channel 8 9pm show
I think it reflects alot about life. If your boyfriend accidentally kill your father, mother and brother, how will you face your boyfriend. Wan Rou is the most pitiful daughter. She is left alone, no kin, if I am her, I can't live without my parents.
I will dump that boyfriend, it will be 100% difficult for me to live with an indirect murderer.
When my parents are not home at night, I will still awake lying on my bed until they reach home then I close my eyes, I am worried about their safety. So I can understand them too, I always reach home early nowadays to see them also not wanting them to worry for me.
Last time I was a bad and naughty girl, often reach home so late. Now I am proud that I am a mummy girl. I love being a mummy girl, because I love my parents. They are so funny, lame and nice to hug.
I love parents and Isaac.
I love God too. I went to church on Sunday and I feel enlightened and relieve.

Last time I was a bad and naughty girl, often reach home so late. Now I am proud that I am a mummy girl. I love being a mummy girl, because I love my parents. They are so funny, lame and nice to hug.

People who are fake?
Are there people who show people they don't study, never do homework, but at night they are mugging like siao?
Why they don't want people to know that they mug ar?
I got tell people I mug like siao but didn't get the results I want.
Sucky results:
programming- 7/26
physics- 13/20
maths- 5/10
I guess I should change course.
Anyway, I think people who are fake will betray the trust of their close friends. They should present their true self. What is wrong with telling poeple you did study and why tell people you are a slacker?

I always want to be a leader and a manager
Hui Ying is doing so well in Project Management! She got enough time to work and slack also. She got no mid terms but just projects. Projects are fun and easy. YOU WON'T FAIL PROJECTS!
I am 70% confident I am going to switch course from mechanical engineering to project management. It is a 4 year programme with direct honours.
The B.Sc. (Project & Facilities Management) programme prepares graduates to be industry leaders who make decisions, shape policies, solve strategic and operational problems, and implement best management practices in the built environment. Emphasis is placed on new knowledge, skills, tools and techniques to manage projects and facilities in both domestic and international markets. To enable graduates to be agile managers and leaders who are adept at anticipating and responding to change, the programme focuses on time management, cost management, quality management, risk management, procurement and dispute management, and strategic facilities management. The programme is also underpinned by a strong foundation in the relevant science and technology. Extensive use is made of local and international case studies in classroom learning and project assignments. Students undergo internship, arranged by the department, to gain industrial experience, locally and overseas.
The Student Exchange Programme allows the student to spend one semester in an approved overseas university offering a similar programme. It provides students with overseas learning experience in a different cultural setting. Modules completed at overseas universities under the exchange programme will earn credits toward the NUS degree for the purpose of graduation
I think this is more interesting than being a mechanical engineer. Even though engineering degree is very useful but project management is also useful, especially when every companies need project managers.
Hui Ying say she can get full marks for her test and she loves her course. There are very few PRCs and indians, not so competitive.
I rather get a second upper for project management than a third class or just a pass in mechanical engineering.
Ok I know what I want le, I am going to join Hui Ying next semester!
BYEBYE mech engnine!!! Mech engine just keeps demoralising me, I don't want so much of my bad points to surface and be exposed. That I am slow or stupid.
Maybe project management suits me, it is like helping a company grow, maybe I can be a BOSS TOO!

University life is the suckiest life
Maybe it is just me only, or maybe engineering. I thought engineering course will be damn slack, but did not know because of techonological advancement and science amd thus more demand for engineering course due to the wide job scope make this course is getting tougher.
1. Squeeze knowledge in 3 months
Physics and Maths are Fcuking tough. I love physics and maths, that is the reason why I entered engineering. But these subjects are draining my blood from my brain. It took me 2 years in Junior College to master physics. Now my course is squeezing 2 years of topic and more topics within 3 months!!!
2. Lecture notes ready to clean my backside
Why are our lecture notes so simplified? I rather pay more to get better lecture notes than to waste my time referring to books, googling or researching.
I need 3-5 toilet papers to clean my "there" after urinating, 5-8 toilet papers to clean my backside. So you will roughly know how THICK are my lecture notes, because they are enough to at least remove undigested chocolately dough from my backside. Yummy.
3. Tutors and lecturers talk for the sake of money.
No money, no talk. Extra talk? Book consultation slots. Can't find time?
They encouraged us to go through this procedure before asking the lecturers questions.
When you encounter a problem,
1. Google yourself and ask yourself.
2. Ask friends.
3. Ask Seniors.
ask whoever who don't work in NUS and finally if you can't get the answer, ask the lecturers.
They are so clever, because we will never go through the final stage where we have to ask the lecturers because I am sure we can always get the answers from many friends. So the lecturers don't get to answer all our dumb questions.
I have an evidence! Comparing jc life and uni life, my lecturers are more friendly. You can ask questions anytime and they will say this after lecture, "Any problems, please come to see me."
This is my programming introductory notes. Can vomit blood. Are they the most unhelpful lecturers around? I bet NTU is better.
4. Asking friends to teach me is a torture.
Everytime I ask my friends to teach me, especially Hong Ju, Han Sheng or Chin Huat, it took lots of courage for me to open my mouth to ask them. They are scholars and they are clever too. But I rather not ask them so much that it may spoil my friendship with them.
I know how it feels like when somebody keeps bugging you with stupid questions. The thing is that I did not get my basics right, that is why it is tough for them to explain the steps to me. I am very slow, I just found out this bad side of me when I enter university.
I am like keeping alot to myself, because if I show more problems to my friends, the more irritated they feel. They don't show me that they are irritated but I always think about how they feel because I think alot about their impression of me. I don't them to see me as a loser or a dumb ass. But at least I asked a fair amount of questions and make sure there is a balance and not keep asking them questions almost everyday.
When Hong Ju said about, "We use much more brain power than us(me and some other slackers), it took us 3 hours to think about the solution and to understand them, but to explain it to you all, it only took 3 minutes for you all to understand. We have gone through lots of thinking process and much time is wasted on that, if you all use that 3 hours to think and not to play, you can also do well for the course."
That is why I have decided to keep all the unsolved problems to myself and think it through first. Google it, find books before asking my friends.
Asking my friends is a faster and better approach, but I am using less brain power. Thinking is a form of learning, so all the more I should adapt a new study strategy by thinking a little bit more.
Knowledge is power, but imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world.
I am going to start being Miss Einstein today!
My hair will look like this and I love this new look. I wanna be crazy. BAHAHHAAA.
