ZARA, TOPSHOP, FOREVER 21 here I come.

I went to forever 21 at first to look for tops for school. I seriously need more tops. Even though my cupboard is full of clothes, I realise 70% of the clothes need to be thrown away because they look ugly to me and are out of the trend.

There is an urgent NEED not a want to shop now before the GST hike. That means in july onwards I won't be shopping. So I have special reasons why I spent alot of money on clothes. Is for univerisity.

My colleague who is 43 years old has a size of a SBS bus wardrobe of clothes. I was like WTF when she told me about it. She said she shops everyday non-stop. During the metro sale, she shopped for 5 clothes and a few sets of shoes at one shot. I guess she is rich.

Well, she is still young at heart, she dances social dances, goes clubbing, drinking and loves shopping. No wonder her face is like so plastic, so flawless and still has lots of hair. She dyed her hair blue, gold and other funky colours on her fringe too. What a cool mother is she. She has 3 children age 20 plus, 18 and 8 years old. They respect her alot.

I guess because she is open-minded, the children told her all their problems just like a friend. She even encourages puppy love and she knows that as long as her children knows what they are doing, she is contented enough.

She likes to wear low cut, transparent and youthful looking clothes. I respect her alot sia. Haha, on that day I shopped till I dropped. It was the midnight sales on every last friday of the month!

Edited: I used the loreal straigthening cream to try straigthening my hair. Initally I was satisfied with the results, but on the next day, the curls on my fringe came out again. WTF.

I returned to STomp again and checked back the forum. I was once a "love guru" said by many stompers but I have stopped advising people or helping people solve problems because the questions became very repetitive.

I found an interesting thread started by Quinsy88. She is 19 years old and she still behave like a pampered kid. She kept whining and bitching about her boyfriend not accompanying her. WTF. Why can't she be understanding. So because of her incident she condemns all guys that guys should not even make empty promises in the first place.

Promises are meant to be broken. This is what I agree.

Mariage vows can be broken too. Basically it is how someone treat the promises. We can't predict the future so we can't confirm whether the promise will always be a promise. That is why if guys give me empty promises, SO BE IT. Why should I kick up the fuss and whine,

"Hey last time you say you will marry me and give me a car and house!"

"You said you won't hurt me!"

"I remembered you told me you won't make me cry and will always give in to me"

Ok, I admitted I said all those naive sentences before in my past relationships. Because girls can remember these kind of sweet promises better than the guys. When guys face with obstacles in the relationship, definitely they can't keep up with their promises. If they break it, I should find out the reason and from there understand him why he had to break those promises.

That Quinsy88 is already 19 years old and she is still so immature. I know I am immature but she is worse than me. Maybe it is true that she had not gone through hardships or failed relationships that is why she is still so naive.

Everybody should go through hardships to mould themselves to a better and developed person. My past relationship taught me a lesson and I really thank God for saving me and making me learn so much about life and love.

I know how to handle life and love now.

What a great shopping day. I love shopping with my boyfriend and my sisters. Actually Isaac and I were supposed to attend the 3rd service at New Creation Church but the seats in the rock auditorium was full, so I decided to go shopping at Mango in Marina Square.

Thanks to my funky colleague who informed me about the Mango Sale last friday. The place was so crowded with impulsive buyers. Clothes were everywhere too. Isaac was such a poor fellow, he was tagging me wherever I go. He was carrying my handbag and some of the clothes I chose. Basically, I just dumped everything on him so that I can search for my clothing easily.

He gave his honest opinions too and I really think he has good taste. I bought a mango jacket for $29 and I really love it. 50% discount! $29 for a jacket is a steal!!! I also bought a simple tank top for $9.

We attended the 4th church service and it was a really good service preached by Pastor Prince. I am an eagle in Christ who brings light in my life not a chicken who lives in darkness. I sore higher than those chickens who fear alot. I don't fear and I am free to fly. The truth will set me free.

Isaac fetched me to Clarke Quay to meet my sisters->Shi Yun and Hui Ying before he went home. Central shopping centre in Clarke Quay is so big and classy!!!

My sisters! We were acting retarded infront of the toilet mirror because the mirror was so scary. It was not that we were scary, the mirror gave our faces an eerie/ghostly effect on our appearance. So we decided to enhance the scary appearance by trying to act like possessed shopaholics.

We walked and tried on some clothes and Shi Yun found a high class and nice red leather bag. I also bought this orangey brown bag from a similar shop. Our bags each cost $40 after discount. It is so worth it. The material is thick, waterproof and just excellant. We love our bags. Her red bag looks more classy than mine, it has many metal stuff hanging there and here whereas mine is more simple and comfortable.

We were smiling and laughing away wihle carrying our shopping bags. BTW, the shopping bags are those hard cover plastic bags, they are black in colour and look super high class. We were so heavily laden like a shopaholic. haha.

Yeah, we were so happy, I was happy too. I got everything I needed and wanted. Maybe I left some tops for university. Just some t-shirts to buy will do.

It is good to spend money, but make sure you will feel happy after spending alot of money, if you feel guilty or you regretted buying, you are just named-> the impulsive buyer.

Many people have armpit hairs, but I know some people who don't have too. But if guys don't have armpit hairs, it is really very gay.

But armpit hairs should be shaven at all time for girls! It is a turn off to see hairs sticking out of your armpits or maybe seeing a bunch of seaweed hiding underneath your armpits. Btw..inedible seaweed or seaweed that suffocated and died from body odour.

I tried to look for pictures of girls with armpit hairs, instead I found nude pictures of hairy armpits and pussies. So gross, lucky I am 19 already, so I don't feel that disgusted. I often shave my armpit hairs too, I will feel uncomfortable if I realise I did not shave my armpit hairs. I can't raise my hand to hold the bus handle or reach out for items above me.

Therefore it is like armpit hairs are restricting my actions or maybe my life. I can't live without unshaven armpit, it kills. I am so depended on unshaven armpit that if one day I forgotten to shave my armpit, I guess I will go crazy or I will hide in the toilet for the whole day at work.

So what if you did shave your armpit hairs, if you perspire, definitely you will smell an odour... not an armoatic smell but body odour. Everybody has different kind of body odour, some is sweet, saltish, bitter or sourish. If you want to know what kind of body odour is yours, try tasting your armpit when you perspire. Haha.

That is why perfumes or deordorants are invented for all humans who perspire. I cannot stand my sweat smell or the wetness in my underarms after a workout, so I usually spray/roll an antipersipirant on my armpits everyday. I use Dove, haha. Nivea is good too.

Guys should also use an antiperspirant or cologne on their body. Nasty smell from perspired body can really turn off girls. Felicia told me that she likes her boyfriend wearing cologne, she recommend guys to use Armani Attitude Cologne by Giorgio Armani for Men. My ex boyfriend used Hugo Boss, the scent is really a big turn on too and adidas antiperspirant.

But some poeple say that antipersipirant can cause cancer in EMAILS. I have checked and researched in the internet. IT DOES NOT CAUSE CANCER AT ALL! THE RUMOUR IS FALSE, said by scientist recently.

Last Sunday I just ate Japanese food with my parents. Today I ate Japanese food again. It is located at Pasir Ris Community Centre. Basically it is just a Japanese buffet.

But I can eat alot at just $23! So there were 9 people eating there. The people are Shi Min, Hui Ping, Isaac, Yao Yong, Tan, TKY, Raymond and Jia Hao. So I get to eat a little bit there and here. I tried many new Japanese food. They kept ordering, so I just kept eating. I ordered alot of handrolls too! Haha, I love handrolls.

I think this is cod liver's belly. Super oily, delicious and crispy. Looks disgusting but taste extremely good. So fear factor!

I paid $400 in total for my spectacles and contact lenses. My degree had gone up to 100 degrees for each eye.

My left eye is 700 degrees and my right eye is 100 degrees. I am going to be a blind bat soon if I don't take good care of my eyes.

My mother said that the optician told her that wearing contact lenses often can help to improve eyesight because the lenses are consistently on your eye. Unlike spectacles, they tend to move about or droop down, thus making us sometimes straining our eyes or shifting our eyes to look at something at an angle.

I thought I like my new spectacles. When I first tried it, the spectacles was so hot. But now it looks horrible on me because the lenses are so thick. The glasses is too heavy for my nose or my face. The spectacles is like overpowering my face.

I don't like my old spectacles, now I also don't like my new spectacles.

During Lasik Surgery
The surgery should take less than 30 minutes. You will lie on your back in a reclining chair in an exam room containing the laser system. The laser system includes a large machine with a microscope attached to it and a computer screen.

A numbing drop will be placed in your eye, the area around your eye will be cleaned, and an instrument called a lid speculum will be used to hold your eyelids open. A ring will be placed on your eye and very high pressures will be applied to create suction to the cornea. Your vision will dim while the suction ring is on and you may feel the pressure and experience some discomfort during this part of the procedure. The microkeratome, a cutting instrument, is attached to the suction ring. Your doctor will use the blade of the microkeratome to cut a flap in your cornea. Microkeratome blades are meant to be used only once and then thrown out.

The microkeratome and the suction ring are then removed. You will be able to see, but you will experience fluctuating degrees of blurred vision during the rest of the procedure. The doctor will then lift the flap and fold it back on its hinge, and dry the exposed tissue.

The laser will be positioned over your eye and you will be asked to stare at a light. This is not the laser used to remove tissue from the cornea. This light is to help you keep your eye fixed on one spot once the laser comes on. NOTE: If you cannot stare at a fixed object for at least 60 seconds, you may not be a good candidate for this surgery.

When your eye is in the correct position, your doctor will start the laser. At this point in the surgery, you may become aware of new sounds and smells. The pulse of the laser makes a ticking sound. As the laser removes corneal tissue, some people have reported a smell similar to burning hair. A computer controls the amount of laser energy delivered to your eye. Before the start of surgery, your doctor will have programmed the computer to vaporize a particular amount of tissue based on the measurements taken at your initial evaluation. After the pulses of laser energy vaporize the corneal tissue, the flap is put back into position.

A shield should be placed over your eye at the end of the procedure as protection, since no stitches are used to hold the flap in place. It is important for you to wear this shield to prevent you from rubbing your eye and putting pressure on your eye while you sleep, and to protect your eye from accidentally being hit or poked until the flap has healed.

What are the risks?

Most patients are very pleased with the results of their refractive surgery. However, like any other medical procedure, there are risks involved. That's why it is important for you to understand the limitations and possible complications of refractive surgery.

Before undergoing a refractive procedure, you should carefully weigh the risks and benefits based on your own personal value system, and try to avoid being influenced by friends that have had the procedure or doctors encouraging you to do so.

1. Some patients lose vision. Some patients lose lines of vision on the vision chart that cannot be corrected with glasses, contact lenses, or surgery as a result of treatment.

2. Some patients develop debilitating visual symptoms. Some patients develop glare, halos, and/or double vision that can seriously affect nighttime vision. Even with good vision on the vision chart, some patients do not see as well in situations of low contrast, such as at night or in fog, after treatment as compared to before treatment.

3. You may be under treated or over treated. Only a certain percent of patients achieve 20/20 vision without glasses or contacts. You may require additional treatment, but additional treatment may not be possible. You may still need glasses or contact lenses after surgery. WTF? This may be true even if you only required a very weak prescription before surgery. If you used reading glasses before surgery, you may still need reading glasses after surgery.

4. Some patients may develop severe dry eye syndrome. As a result of surgery, your eye may not be able to produce enough tears to keep the eye moist and comfortable. Dry eye not only causes discomfort, but can reduce visual quality due to intermittent blurring and other visual symptoms. This condition may be permanent. Intensive drop therapy and use of plugs or other procedures may be required.

Results are generally not as good in patients with very large refractive errors of any type. You should discuss your expectations with your doctor and realize that you may still require glasses or contacts after the surgery.

For some farsighted patients, results may diminish with age. If you are farsighted, the level of improved vision you experience after surgery may decrease with age. This can occur if your manifest refraction (a vision exam with lenses before dilating drops) is very different from your cycloplegic refraction (a vision exam with lenses after dilating drops).

Long-term data is not available. LASIK is a relatively new technology. The first laser was approved for LASIK eye surgery in 1998. Therefore, the long-term safety and effectiveness of LASIK surgery is not known.



Hm..I guess I still stick to spectacles, haha. I know that when I grow old, my degree will fluctuate alot. My father used to be short-sighted, now he is both short-sighted and long-sighted. His degree has also stablised for 10 years. I heard that when people grow old(really old), their degree either went down or stablised.

Trans fat is found in many processed foods and baked goods, including margarine, shortening, fried foods like french fries, fried chicken and doughnuts, cookies, pastries and crackers. wtf! I have been eating alot of oily/junk food nowadays at work! Cut down, slash slash!!!



Good Habits for Good Vision

When dealing with the computer, whether you need the help of glasses or not, there are good habits and practices that can help those poor old eyes.

1. Establish an eye-friendly environment for your computer use.

2. Position your monitor 20" to 26" from your eyes and about 4" to 6" below eye level.

3. Dim the lights. Most offices, especially those with florescent lights, are too bright. Flickering florescent lights should be eliminated.

4. Use proper lighting. Eliminate reflections on the computer screen. Reduce excessively bright light both inside and out.

5. Match the computer screen to the brightness of the environment.

6. Adjust your monitor for contrast and brightness. In general, dark letters on a light background are easier for most people to read.

7. Minimize glare on the computer screen. Use window shades, blinds, or drapes to block excessive sunlight. Move the computer to a location that causes no glare on the screen or use an anti-glare screen guard or hood.

8. If you are seated in a draft or near an air vent, try to eliminate the flow of air past your eyes. Make sure you sit straight in front of the monitor rather than off to the side.

9. Take a 5-minute break every hour or two to reduce eyestrain.

10. Blink more often. When staring at a computer, people blink about five times less frequently than normal according to some studies. Blinking lubricates the eyes. If you don't blink, tears that coat the eye evaporate causing dry eyes. Dry air in the computer room can aggravate this condition.

11. Every fifteen minutes, focus on distant objects to relax your muscles.

12. Look at green pastures.

Ok, I am going to start taking care of my eye sight!

No alochol, no smoking, no high-fat diet, no high-sugar diet and less computers! And I will try to maintain my eyesight for as long as possible.

I think most young teenagers who like to slash their wrists fall under the defination of number 2 and 4 of masochist.

Are masochists emo in the first place? I think they are. Usually normal people need to think alot first before falling into depression and in order to relieve their pain, they rather go through "suffering" to feel the pleasure, thus given the name masochist.

Is not fun to slash your own wrist, it is so fcuking pain. Just imagine slashing your wrist= poking your eye.

what are you thinking, you must be thinking that I inflict pain on myself right? I am not that stupid.

I hurt myself accidentally.

The stupid stapler bullet hooked onto my left hand fourth finger and dug out my flesh. I don't blame the staplets because I helped IT.

As in, I forcefully pulled away my finger from the hooked staplets and it clinged and dragged and dugged out a little flesh out of my fourth finger. SO PAIN!!! Blood gushed out and I immediately plastered over it.

Damn... I made things worse. The white cotton was supposed to be covering over the wound but when i wrapped 1 round over my finger, the sticky plaster stick onto my fresh open wound!!!

F F F. I pulled the sticky plaster out from my wound pulling more skin away from the wound and opening up a bigger hole in my wound. So is it the plaster fault or my fault?

Now I am typing with my injured fourth finger and 1 more finger that I hurt 3 hours later. It was my right hand last finger. I was trying to pull out a stapler bullet from the documents when the stapler actually jammed onto my pinky.

Ok again, it is not the stapler's fault again. I use my strength to try to pull the staplet out, so I forcefully press the stapler and "CHI CHING" the stapler punched onto my pinky.

I was WTF WTF. Not again. I have wasted enough plasters in my workplace. There are 2 vampire teeth holes on my pinky.

So whose fault is it in here? Me or the stationery? I guess is both. But my clumsiness comes first.

Is this considered inflicting pain on myself since I am also an accomplice in this "crime"?

Well, as long as I never thought of hurting myself I am not a masochist.

I am not crazy too. My friends eat rubber bands, tissue papers and stapler their fingers. That is real crazy.

But for the sake of having good life, clean life and healthy life. Working has more VALUABLE EXPERIENCE than being in prison.

I want to work hard for a better future and life. In order to be successful, prison can't get you anywhere, you need to go through hardships and choose the right path to find happiness.

Today my parents brought me to Robinson's to exchange my tight Levi's jeans to a size bigger. I went to buy another Levi's jeans, because it is discounted!

In total I have 4 Levi's jeans.

Ouch...

My mother shopped longer in Robinson and my father drove me to church. Today's service was really annointing. Pastor Lian was really funny and I want to experience God too!

After service I went to meet my family for dinner at Ichiban Boshi. It is a Japanese restaurant, we want to celebrate Father's day.

I decided to give them a treat because I just got my first pay.

NUS finally accepted me! NTU called me to tell me that they will proceed with the necessary rejection. I felt so bad.

I met my sisters today in the afternoon after my dental appointment. They were at Bugis This Fashion. As usual This Fashion clothes suck to the core! I only bought a white tube from there because it is cheap. $5 nia.

I think the clothes are really CMI (Cannot Make It). I remembered going to This Fashion when I was young to see Filipino maids crowding in This Fashion to buy cheap clothes. They were shouting, "So Cheap!" They were making a nuisance in the shop and rushing to collect as many clothes as they want.

I felt so irritated and they some how bring down the reputation of This Fashion just by their actions.
1. Rushing to collect as many clothes
2. Talking loudly like, "SO CHEAP LA!"
3. Speaking loudly in their language and showing their white teeth

Maybe I should understand them, because when I went to China or Thailand to shop, I said the same thing as the Filipino maids. Just like a Kiasu and impulsive Singaporean.

Hui Ying told me that the application for hostel is on 15th June, I was late by 1 day! Maybe is my fault for not reading up the datelines in my NUS freshman guidebook or else I can sign up with her for the double bedroom accomodation.

I bought a few shirts that look like Outfitter girls, or maybe even better looking than it. I could not try them out because those shirts are from the shops in Bugis streets. So I bought 2 shirts, one for $8 and another for $10.

I wanted to buy jeans for University. Shi Yun, Hui Ying and I in the fitting room trying out our Levi's jeans.

I think the guys really cannot stand it so we told them to move somewhere else first. Haha. I think they should buy a PSP so that when they go shopping next time they can occupy themselves with the game and not waste their time tagging and waiting for us.

When we were purchasing our undergarments, a panties was on the floor. It was nearer to Yao Yong, so I told him to pick it up. He did not dare. I was like HUH how come? Just throw it into the basket. I think is normal to touch panties without thinking of any sexual thoughts of it. You are not going to smell it or ogle at it.

It seems as if panties to guys are like bombs to them. Once they touch it, people will condemn them or they felt so guilty touching them. Haha, maybe he wants to be a gentleman, oh wells, I respect him then.

BTW I bought the Levi's jeans for $135! Usual is $170! 20%discount. I showed my family when I reached home and they said I look like a BA ZHANG because the jeans is too tight for me. I told them it will expand but they said I really looked super squashed up and ugly. Oh wells, so I am going to change a size bigger.

The application/confirmation is officially closed on 4th June 2007. But you know what, I have made a wrong decision. I confirmed my application with NTU before 4th June 2007 so kind of reject NUS.

But I have decided to change to NUS instead!

I don't blame Ying Hui, maybe she really had forgotten to tell me that she applied to NUS.

Basically, Shi Yun called Hui Ying on Saturday and heard from Hui Ying that Ying Hui changed her mind, instead of going NTU, she decided to go to NUS.

Ying Hui and I promised to stay in a hostel together in NTU, that is why I also chose NTU. When she came to my house to celebrate Hui Ying's birthday, she said she had not received from NUS, so both of us will be going to NTU. OK, that settles.

Who knows, she received her letter from NUS just a few days before the closing date and she did not inform me that she decided to change her mind.

I assumed and I thought that she had selected NTU, so I accepted NTU. Now craps, when I found out she accepted NUS. I was shocked and felt so sad. I cried because I felt kind of betrayed and disappointed and at the same time sad that my close friends are in a different school as me.

I need my close friends and they are the only one I can talk to, I can only pour my problems to them. Is so difficult to tell other people about it because they are different people.

I told my closed ones and they asked why Ying Hui played me out. I messaged Ying Hui how I felt, angry and sad. She thought she had informed me which she did not. So she apologised for forgetting to tell me that she changed her mind.

But I just wonder how come she can forget to tell me about her decision. We already planned to stay in a hostel together in NTU, now she accepted NUS, has she ever spare a thought of me? Who will I be staying with?

The sense of betrayal hurts alot, my friends said I should be angry with her for being unreasonable but I decided to forgive her. She did apologise to me profusely and I don't want to be angry over this kind of thing.

It is also my fault that I did not confirm with her again before selecting the accept button to NTU. But I thought is 100% that she will be going to NTU and also staying hostel with me. Poor communication between us is the cause of everything. Anyway, if I get into NUS, I will be staying with Hui Ying, she and Ying Hui want me so badly to get into NUS now. Hee=))

I told my father and he was willing to fetch me to NUS to appeal inside the school. My father called up the NUS office and he said I need to fax to them a black and white formal letter of why I want to appeal to NUS. Extra work and extra problems.

My parents were very good to me, they did not scold me but instead help me draft the letter for me. I really do not know what to do if I did not tell them my problems. They are the ones who can really help me. Ying Hui can't help me, nobody can help me except for my parents who are always there to do the best for me.

I can understand every thing they do is for my own good, I will appreciate them day by day. Hopefully 3-5 working days after my mother helps me to fax over the letter they can inform me whether the appeal is successful. I really want to get into NUS.

Because NUS is nearer, my friends are in there and near there and NUS engineering is better than NTU.

If they reject me, I guess I have to live with this fate. Maybe I can make new friends in NTU and be an indepedent woman. See how I can struggle friendships and studies.

I pray that I can get into NUS even though the application is officially closed. I trust God's decision for grace and favour on me.

Why she bought the necklace?

Her tutee's mother bought it and said she has been wearing it for years and her blood ciculation is much better. So my colleague decided to try it out, she has worn it for 1 month and said honestly it hasn't shown any effect yet.

It is all psychological! If you want to have better blood circulation, wearing weird items, poking voodoos, screaming, slapping your ass once a day or poking needles into your eyes cannot improve blood circulation.

One solution: Have a positive set of thinking. Psychological effects help. Because people can't always think positively that is why they have to resort to superstious items.

I turned to God when I have problems with my body so that I can have the positive set of thinking that Jesus will heal my body.

Shi Yun and I was doing overtime at work, she took some random pictures and videos of me and I also took some pictures and videos of her. We were definitely bored, but for the extra money given for overtime, we love working overtime just for the money. Is 1.5 times anyway.

I just received my pay, got about $1k but I think I want to earn more, maybe hitting $1.3k next month.

I was so stressed up at work. Look at the clock it was about 8pm.


My arm muscles are building up because I have to carry these boxes of documents everyday to and fro. I better watch my back, it aches sometimes. I must bent my knees when I carry these heavy boxes.


I have to look at documents and select what kind of documents that are needed to scan.

How shit gymnastics orignated from us?

Because I taught my colleagues how to shit properly, for example if you can't force the shit out of your butt, try leaning forward until your face is like almost touching your panties or pants. Your butt hole opens up slowly and the shit can move out of your asshole easily.

Now this is the hardest part, when you feel that the shit is coming out, immediately sit back straight up so that the shit can drop into the toilet bowl and not splash onto your butt. If your shit drops off from your butt when you are bending forward, splash! your butt is splashed with shit or other runny-coloured water. So you must decide when to sit straight up so that the shit will drop perfectly making sure your butt is still clean.

So you have to do alot of movement when we want so shit properly, is like a form of exercise, so either Felicia or Shi Yun invented the word for my shitting teachnique. Shit gymnastics.

By the way you still need to wipe your asshole. Use about 5-8 square papers of toilet roll if you want to clean your asshole. If you want to clean other areas for girls especially, please use only 3 square papers of toilet roll, don't waste paper!

Enough of my crap, I'm off!

Working sucks.

Working does not even work my mind and I can even fall asleep while working. I prefer studying, at least I can think, understand and absorb NEW KNOWLEDGE.

What can I absorb from working?
Besides getting NEW EXPERIENCE.
I think it is making me DUMBER and more SENILE.

I am just merely scanning. I am doing a job like what 2 other permanent staffs are doing too. Scanning, batching, print stuff, photocopy papers and investigation. It is such a routine that I realise it has turned into.

What a dead routine, there is simply no life in my work. Not only me.

Shi Yun: She is doing indexing, copy and paste from a program onto another program. (REAL DEAD-> higher probability of falling asleep)
Felicia: Scanning (She wants to die already)
Hui Joo: Typing letters (People with no brains also can do that)

I think!...work related to business, banking and accountancy is really dead! I worked in 2 other companies as an admininstrative worker too and I saw a same problem. The staffs are like typing zombies or computer freaks.

I decided not to become an accountant after what I see those accountants do. They are sitting down infront of the computer most of the time, typing, calling and type type type until all FEMALES HAVE TUMMY caused by work. Not working out(exericse) but just working in an office, especially a desk-bound job will reward you with an island. =O

My recommendation to all females having desk-bound jobs. Use this.

So you're stuck at a desk all day. This doesn't mean you have to sacrifice your fitness. Kelly Baker explains how to use your desk-bound time to stay in shape .

There's no doubt having a job has its positives, but if it's a desk-bound position, there's also a downside. Sitting at a desk all day can be bad for your waistline. Worse still, it can be bad for your muscles, tendons and nerves. And in extreme cases it can cause deep vein thrombosis (the life-threatening blood-clot condition that can develop on planes) and repetitive-strain injury, caused by overusing one set of muscles, tendons or nerves. Think typing or holding a phone.
A good way to avoid these conditions is to take regular breaks. So make sure you get out of your chair for five minutes roughly every half an hour. During your break, do a quick lap of the office, or knock out a few squats or stretches. If you really want to stay in good shape, you can even do a mini-workout right at your desk.

Don't know where to start? Well don't worry. Hayden Ozcan, a sport physiologist and podiatrist, and Allan Menezes, the founder of the Pilates Institute of Australasia, have put together this in-office routine. It's easy to follow, and effective.

1 THE TOE TAP
Aim - To maintain ankle mobility, and promote blood flow to the legs and thighs.
Position - Sit upright on your chair, making sure the backs of your thighs, your bottom and your back are all well supported.
Description - With your feet close together, raise both heels off the floor. Tap your toes, and let your feet slowly creep forward. Return your feet to the same position by toe-tapping backwards.
Technique tip - Tap the floor in short, sharp moves. Try not to rock in the seat, and don't over-stretch and force the movement.
Frequency - Complete exercise (that's out and back) 10 times. Do this three times a day. If you're sitting in the one position for hours on end, try and toe tap at least every 90 minutes.

2 ALTERNATE TOE RAISES
Aim - To maintain ankle mobility, work the shin and calf muscles, and promote blood flow in the lower body.
Position - Sit upright on your chair, making sure the backs of your thighs, your bottom and your back are all well supported.
Description - Raise the toes of your left foot up off the floor. Raise them as far as you can while keeping your heels flat. Then slowly let your toes drop back to the floor. Repeat for the right leg.
Technique tip - Maintain upright posture, relax and control your breathing. Don't force the toes - past a comfortable position, and don't rock in the chair.
Frequency - It can be done fast or slow. If you can, do 10 slow toe lifts (two seconds up, two seconds down) on each leg, and then 10 speedy ones (up and down in one second). Repeat this exercise every one to two hours of constant sitting.

3 ALTERNATE LEG RAISES
Aim - To maintain knee mobility, work the quadriceps (front thigh muscles) and hip muscles. Also, to work your stomach muscles, and promote blood flow.
Position - Sit upright on your chair, with the backs of your thighs, your bottom and back well supported.
Description - First raise your feet up off the floor - try for 10cm. Hold this position for two seconds. Stretch your left leg as far as you can. Hold this position for two full seconds. Return your left foot to its starting position. Hold here for two seconds, and then rest both feet on the floor. Repeat for your right leg. If you find it difficult to stretch your legs out, perform the first step only.
Technique tip - Use slow and steady movements. Keep your upper body steady.
Frequency - Do five leg raises on the left, and five on the right. Do this exercise at least once a day, but preferably two to three times a day.

4 BEAUTIFUL BACK STRETCH
Aim - To stretch your upper back and sides.
Position - Sit upright in your chair with hands resting on your thighs.
Description - Place your right hand slightly below your navel. Reach towards the ceiling with your left hand and then, bending your elbow, bring your hand to rest on your left shoulder blade. Take a breath in, breathe out and then stretch the left elbow over to the right-hand side while pressing your left hip into the chair. Hold for 10 seconds, or as long as is comfortable, take a deep breath in, breathe out and return to your starting position. Swap sides, and then repeat.
Technique tip - Breathe steadily and deeply. Correct breathing will enable you to stretch further and for longer.
Frequency - Perform this stretch three times on each side. Do this three times a day if possible.

5 THIGH STRETCH
Aim - To stretch out any kinks in the quadriceps, and increase the blood flow.
Position - Stand to the side of your desk with knees slightly relaxed.
Description - Rest your right hand on your desk for balance. Lift your left foot off the ground, pull your heel to your bottom, and hold it there with your left hand. Press your left knee towards the floor (this will stretch the front of your thigh). Keep the pelvis tucked in. This will alleviate strain on the joints. Hold for 10 seconds, and then swap sides.
Technique tip - Keep the leg you're standing on slightly bent. This will help you stay upright. Ensure the knee of the leg you're stretching is pointing towards the ground, and not out in front of you.
Frequency - Stretch each thigh three to five times. Do this exercise at least once a day.

6 INNER THIGH TONER
Aim - To create gorgeous upper thighs, to increase blood flow, and to save time by sneaking in a workout during office hours.
Position - Sit upright in your chair with both feet resting on the ground, with your knees together.
Description - Take a tennis ball, and place it between your knees. Once it's secure, squeeze the tennis ball as hard as you can. Keep the pressure on for 10 seconds, and then release. Repeat, repeat, repeat!
Technique tip - If you don't have a tennis ball handy, use your fist. It's just as effective.
Frequency - This exercise seems deceptively simple but, in fact, it will give your inner thighs an excellent workout. You can do this exercise as often as you like.

I am going to try this tomorrow at work, haha.

A temporary admin worker has a much higher pay than a sales girl, cashier or waitress. But I think I will prefer hands-on job. No wonder I choose engineering. I prefer thinking, calculating, investigating projects and solve problems by fixing them manually.

So I really don't mind being a sales girl. The pay may be low, but hey I can meet different customers and I can cater to their needs. This job may be repetitive but not as 100% repetitive as admin work.

I always wanted to be a SEMBAWANG MUSIC CD shop sales girl. Being able to be indulged with music while working is the most fulfilling job ever. I applied for it but they did not call me maybe because I have no experience. DAMN.

Music is my life.


I just realised yesterday that working makes me more stupid. It removes my life, but at least I can control and limit myself. I wasn't able to finish my work yesterday so I overtimed until 8.30pm. Actually I need to finish it but I DON"T CARE because I need to take my dinner and go back home to rest.

My senior staff Janna is worse than me. She is such a happy-go-lucky girl, but whenever she overtimes, she looks so weary, tired and stressed out. Yesterday she told me she wanted to go back home and sang this "This is home truly~" She wasn't able to finish her work too and it was already 8pm.

Today my friends and I saw her crying. I wasn't sure what happened but she has been receiving calls and digging missing documents requested by the staff. She broke down finally. I guess she was just stressed out. I wonder how is she able to tolerate work stress for the rest of her life..okie not so extreme but because she is a permanent staff so I said working there for the rest of her life. haha.

I overtimed today again. I can get 1.5times the normal pay, but I realise I am getting 1.5times dumber. My life is cutting short by 1.5times and my brain is shrinking 1.5times smaller.

All the more I must make boring work interesting. I tried..but is not my fault because I was given this Brain Dead job, so I just live it and endure it for the next 2 months before I can go into NTU to study.

Studying is more fun. Being able to upgrade yourself is even more SHIOK. I want to upgrade myself too like how my cousin upgraded himself. He is already 35 years old but still prefers studying to working. He got a PHD and now he is pursuing a degree in USA, he did work but applied for more degrees to gain new knowledge and improves himself.

Working is not good but working your mind is better.

Find a job that works your mind, I don't mean Mahjiong or gambling but a real stable job. Haha.

I can understand why bestfriends understand friends the best. Maybe that applies to me only. Because I realise my parents don't understand me, they still think I am a three-year old kid who needs to be under control.

I really want to be closer to my parents when it comes to my relationships. Because I really envy people who can talk to their parents just like friends. So I took one step further by spilling the beans about my relationships. Instead, I got thrashed... so much for being filal, patient and obedient to them, I wasn't give the happiness I wanted. They chose my happiness instead.

Today after I came back home from work, I showed 2 clothes I bought for my brother and Isaac to my mother. I told her happily 50% discount for Surfer Paradise clothes. From $39.90 to $19.90!!!

She was wowing at first but later her face colour changed. She said she had something bothering her for a long time.

I really hate april fool's days, I hate being pranked or fooled. I like to see people being fooled but I don't like myself being fooled.

I love watching celebrities prank, like PUNK'D. Once the celebrities found out that everything was a prank, they always tell Ashton Kutcher, "I hate you!", "Oh My Gosh, Crap!", "You suck!", "Damn it" or a sarcastic "THANKS ALOT"

When people play a prank on you, do you ever say "thats really nice, I love it!" or "You are so sweet".

Pranks are stupid mind games that play with your emotions, they always bring out our dark side or emotional side during situations we could not control or we have not gone through before.

I just got PUNK'D by Isaac Wong Yue Wei!

He fetched me home and messaged me around 11.45pm he was walking home, so I expect to see him online in about 15 minutes time. It was already 12.30pm, I had not seen him in MSN. He couldn't be walking home for 45 minutes outside right? I messaged him a few times and called him many times, he did not reply me.

I am so scared...

His sister came online and I immediately asked her whether he was at home. She said not yet. I was like WTF WTF, how come so late have not reached home? I made his sister worried too, I told her to tell her parents about Isaac. She said nothing will happen to Isaac because he is a taekwondo Black Belt.

SO WHAT? Get Gang Bang or Gang Fight, black belt still lose okies...

I was fcuking worried, I told TianShun, Raymond, Wei Long and called Jun Jie. They told me to calm down and said will try to call Isaac.

My mind starts to take control of me, I started to think alot and my imgination starts becoming wild.

These questions were in my head.
1. Did he get knocked down by a car?
2. Did he get hammered by some Ah Bengs?
3. Did he faint suddenly because sometimes he got spasms?

Why he never replied to my messages and calls? It was already so late. I told all 5 friends, if he did not reach home at 1am, I am going to rush down to SengKang to search around the neighbourhood for him. Even if my parents stopped me, I will still go ahead, I don't care.

When somebody means alot to you, you worry for his/her safety. I kept praying in tongues and asking God to give Isaac protection.

Close to 1am, Isaac called my handphone! I answered immmediately and asked him frantically what happened to him.

Isaac: "I slept in the park.." saying it sheepishly.
Me: "How come? Why? You okie anot?" saying it like a Kan Chiong husband whether his baby is a boy or a girl after his wife gave birth.

IN THE END, STUPID ISAAC played a prank on me.



He was all along at home and he used his sister's account to talk to me! What a prank. Okie...I admitted I cried over the phone because I was so scared something will happen to him, happy to hear him safe and also sad that he did this to test me.

Why guys like to play mind games or test games with girls? The feeling sucks. Is like playing with our feelings and emotions. That is super sadistic.

TianShun also said that I should lecture Isaac or else he will not learn his lessons. I was angry I got fooled... I cried and worried for nothing. WTF...

Immediately after I got pranked, I said, "I hate you" to Isaac. I was really angry. At one moment I was worried and scared, now he really did make me angry.

I scolded him and advised him about the consequences. He felt really bad and apologised profusely. He sounded really guilty and sad that he hurt me and he just wanted to see my reactions because I did 1 or 2 little pranks on him before. But this time round his prank was really serious.

I have forgiven him and he promised not to do that again. Well everybody must learn from one another and not repeat their same mistakes. At least everything is made clear.

I bet the 5 friends I told about Isaac's disappearances must be laughing away at this stupid prank. Well I can understand, looking at people being fooled is 100 times more fun than themselves being fooled.

I drove my father's car today around the neighbourhood and also learnt how to park without poles.

IS REALLY CANNOT MAKE IT.

No poles to guide me now and I have to judge myself, I find it rather dangerous. I talked to people who also faced the same problem as me and they said they took many days to master their parking. Oh wells, I make sure I can park like my father. He is pro!

My father, mother and I went to Chinatown to eat Song He, is a kind of steamed fish. Too bad my brother is away at scouts camp because he could not enjoy this set of delicious meal.

My father said that there are about 15 stalls in the Chinatown hawker centre selling Song He, WTF? So much competition just for 1 pathetic fish?

Hey is ain't pathetic, the fish is POWER manz, so soft yet tender and I love food with sauces!

Besides just Song He, there are fried chicken and vegetables. Is just fried chicken and vegetables but I don't know why the food is so tasty. I think is the marination and the sauces they used. The vegetables was so crunchy and fresh, father said that they used big fire to cook it, that was why they tasted so crunchy.

This is one of the popular store. I rated the food from this stall 8/10.

My parents fetched me to Marina Square because I told them I wanted to meet Isaac at Computer show, he was working there. My family and I went to shop around and the event in Marina Square was showcasing Powerpuff girls. HAHA.



Marina Square just opened a new departmental store, The XTRA LARGE JOHN LITTLE.


COol...a new store. I went in and there were having some sales. I bought 2 Pierre Cardin sets of bras and panties for $29.90! Is a promotion of buy 1 get 1 free and it only last for 1 hour. I am an implusive buyer, so I immediately grabbed 2 sets and tried it on and immediately threw the sets on the cashier counter just before 8pm(the promotion buy 1 get 1 free ends at 8pm). haha. Woot. 2 for $29.90, or else after 8pm 1 for $29.90. haha.


I bought a few tops and later bid goodbye to my parents. I went to find Isaac at the computer show Netgear. My cousin Ivan was the manager there, he kept asking me jokingly and teasing me, "Who are you looking for? Friend? Boyfriend?" Haha, then he taught me ways how to park cars.

Isaac and I went to eat Ben's and Jerry's, Haha good food again! The ice cream was so creamy and yummy. We ordered the "make your own sundae". It costs $9 for 2 scoops plus other toppings. I rated this ice cream 10/10! Haha.

Before I leave, I want to show some pictures of food that I love. I like food with overwhelming taste and smell. Especially mushrooms. I like food in delicious SAUCES. Food without sauces or seasoning is so blend, sauces spice up the food. SMOKY!

I am reaching 20 years old soon! Crap, why am I thinking so far ahead? It is because I am living in a fast paced society that is why I have to predict, imagine and have foresights. Lee Kuan Yew likes to foresee Singapore's economy, so I think I want to foresee my future.

But stop!

The more I think about the future like what to do or my ambitions, the more I will age faster. Worrying about the future makes us age. Think about now and today, plan without worrying, because God will plan it for you.

Pastor Prince said before about this woman in England, she was only 20+ years old and was attached to her boyfriend. Her boyfriend had to go overseas to study or work, so she decided to wait for him. Who knows he did not come back for her. She still waited...waited and waited until she became insane.

She was then admitted to a mental hospital. When she is 60+ years old, the doctors could not recognise her as a 60+ years old OLD WOMAN, because she looks like a 20+ years old lady! They experimented on her and researched on her but could not understand why she still looks so young when she is supposed to look like an old woman.

Their conclusion: She is still living in her twenties. The young character, thinking in her still revolves within her as if she is a 20+ year old lady waiting for her boyfriend to come back to her. She has been waiting for her boyfriend till today.

Love can make you old and make you feel young, is how you control time and make full use of your time to live young and happily. That is why carpe diem.

I like to be polite and courteous to people who make your day. Is just like the security guards in the bank I am working now. I like to greet them, "Good morning, hi, evening, good night, byebye." They are very happy too. Holding doors for people, controlling lifts, giving way to people, saying thank you and smiling at strangers. I can understand why I am happy because the people around me are happy.

Being happy is the key of looking young. Stop time and enjoy life to the fullest. Appreciate your family by doing simple things that can make their day. Like washing the dishes, doing housechores, saying goodnight everyday and more.

I never talk back to my parents anymore, because I honour them. Because they know I am mature enough to decide what is the right choice for me, they can comment and advise me but will never force me to do whatever they expect. I know they do have expectations, I will try my best to meet all their expectations.

Is okie if I can't get a PHD, as long as I am a good person, ZUO HAO REN, I think it is the happiest gift I can give to my parents.

My parents are happy that I just got my driving license! My father even secretly bought the traingle beginner sticker without letting me know, he knew as his daughter I will pass. My grandmother also called me, "Qianping, wo hen kai xin, gong xi ni~" (jasmine, I am so happy, congratulations)

Time flies fast and I am receiving God's grace and favour, abundance of them. My parents knew about my relationship with Isaac, they gave good advices and I can see that they are beginning to accept him. Isaac is also very good to me, he always gives in to me and I will never want to disappoint him. Lets just appreciate the people and cherish the people who care.
